    New Member: Thinking about starting a site

    Hey all,

    Glad I found this forum... Seems to be a good resource.

    I'm thinking about launching a site but have no idea on actual money amounts that could be made. I suppose it varies quite a bit.
    I have a lot of web experience and plan on building the site myself, handling all the tech stuff.

    I don't have huge expectations and hope to at least break even during the first year...

                  More like thumbnails: a content provider rather than an aggregator...I was thinking about starting a site where I pay models and host the content or is that too Web 1.0 lol?
                  I had thought about using DRM but unless I host the DRM server it cuts too much into the profit margin.

                          It depends of your site. The domain name usually costs $6 and you can take cheap virtual hosting for $4/month. It's enaugh to start a small site.
