Why do mobile sites not have mobile payment?

Why is no one using some sort of payment to mobile phone bill?

Ie, the payment is added to your phone bill.

This way it could be as simple as a press of a button.

Do people realy belive somone is going to think, that site looks good, now let me spend 30 mins trying to enter my credit card details using a tiny mobile phone key pad.

    Sure they will.

In the United States it's very hard to get SMS billing because the phone companies joined together and said no adult. The margin on it is very slim too because the carrier and the SMS company take a very large percentage.

Now in Europe and other countries this is quite common and does very well. But most webkit sites will not process SMS wise because of the US' rules and webkit phones aren't as popular in Europe yet.
    Vacares rules.

Because Americans use credit cards. Pretty sure Global Access (see Due) can help you if you want SMS billing for your Euro customers/

Even with global access the payment can vary from $0.10 to $2.00+ per SMS. Depending on country. Are you willing to take $0.10 memberships?

You can get 30 buck single drop SMS in the UK.

Just because the rest of the world hasn't caught up with us yet, doesn't mean you cannot make serious bank using mobile payment.

One of my clients makes around 50% of his revenue on phone payments.

You can get the same in Sweden. Too bad the market is so small compared.
