It's ridiculous to me too. I mean I love dogs and animals but setting up a profile for your puppy and making play dates with your friend's dogs and posting about it is just hurting.

I just saw a National Geographic documentary on dogs and behavioural scientists actually have documented that dogs appear to have certain reasoning skills that are superior to apes.
