It's absurd to say the government as a whole was behind this shit. It isn't however absurd to say that SOME people holding various levels of government positions were negligent, evasive and using their positions in compliance with the hijackers and masterminds. We've seen how people in government can use their position to compromise our security. Happens all the time. We saw that during the days after the Revolutionary War well on up to the Civil War and even the number of spies and traitors during WWII. Heck we've seen it recently with spies who were selling major secrets to China alone.

The extra tragedy with these workers and citizens developing health problems from the debris is that when first mentioned they got the traditional run around from the authorities. Even the cops and firemen got a run around.

Now it's going ot come to bear.
