I saw somewhere else that Max Hardcore is set to be released next week.

Does anybody know if there are any parties planned?

I was never a big fan of Max's films, but it's sad to think that a person is sentenced to serve jail time in this country, simply for creating adult entertainment with mutually consenting adults, for other mutually consenting adults to view if they wish to.

It will be interesting to see what Max has to say, and what he plans to do once he is free again...

Seriously though, I've met Max a handful of times at tradeshows, and even at car races, and he was a very jovial person. Since he was in a low security facility, I'm sure most of the other inmates probably got a kick out of hearing some of his tales.

Not even his "shipping department". A seperate company was distributing his content for him, and he specifically told them not to ship to certain states, which they did anyway. The distribution company testified against him in return for immunity, which is really fucked up.
