dont need it for making phone calls, thats what i have a phone for..
obviously big minus that you cannot watch flash on the I-pad..
not so sure apple did the right thing there.

My Galaxy has 3g and wifi. We use wifi in the house. Does GPS pretty good. The phone is disabled in our (American) version, not so in the Euro version. Makes a nice little portable to do limited tasks on, not serious work. I've been using it to check out the mobile site I'm building. Using mp4 files the Galaxy just plays them without any embedding or flash code. Plays Flash with no problem as well. Surprising fast little units as well.
My wife loves it, I prefer bigger everything. Samsung has just come out with a 10" 4g version of the Galaxy. No doubt that in the coming months they will get better and cheaper. I read that there is a Chinese company getting ready to drop a 7" Android Honeycomb tab on the market for about $300. You can bet Apple ain't going to get cheaper, they will come out with smaller, spartan units at a lower price with the Apple name, but personally I'm done with Apple. I gave my MacBook to my 7 year old son till I can get him a Linux box set up.
