First, people are pretty damned friendly in Scotland, especially compared to England ;)
Second, the castle architecture is something we really don't get in the states and I love me some castles, hhaha...
Third, taking a drive through the highlands is epic and those shaggy things you call cows kick ass.
Fourth, I can get a black & tan at ANY pub... not select pubs.
Fifth, chicks with a Scottish accent instantly become hotter...
Sixth, I'm also a haggis fan... not many people are but, when January 25th rolls around SOMETIMES you can find some in the states :P
Seventh, and pretty random... I like oats... Scotland dishes have a lot of oats. I think England made fun of Scotland once saying that they feed oats to horses, they aren't made to be eaten by humans and someone responded with; and in Scotland the finest men and in England the finest horses ;)
Eighth, I can wear a kilt and not be too out of place
Ok that's all I've got for now... I think just posting some pics of places around Scotland would do the trick though... I should dig mine up. I had the most bad ass view when I stayed in The Braid Hills Hotel in Edinborough. I could see the castle, king arthor's seat, and everything between with the flag out front flying across the view... pretty damned sweet.
