interestingly enough it's not a skin color, to me at any rate, it's a culture as near as I can tell... the 'blacks' I've worked with from 'not america' are pretty much highly educated and hard working... there are a few guys living in the building I live in that are very damn sharp too...Originally posted by Jesus H ChristIMO: In General
He's right. The highest standard of living of any person of African descent is in America. Most, (not all) have been sticking their handout for so long they actually feel some form of entitlement. The vast majority of the communities that they live in goes to shit. Anytime they hold some sort of public office there is a higher corruption % then any other race. Blacks accounted for 38.2% of the prison population despite making up just 12.4% of the total US general population. Over 60% of black mothers are single. The highest statistics in the US for violent crime (murder) is Black on Black. In short, it's not a problem but an epidemic and most politicians won't even address the problem due to being labeled a racist.
The Blacks that do make it are always a target by other blacks and why when they get wealthy they surround themselves with white people. But prior to that it's always the white mans fault.

yeah I hope the prez gets thing going in a better direction for sure..Originally posted by Jesus H ChristThe vast majority of all successful blacks I've met other then sports or entertainment all had one thing in common. When you spoke to them on the phone you'd have no idea they were black.
In truth, one of the main reasons I voted for Obama is because it's better for the country to have a black president. Meaning, you don't hear Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton crying anymore do you? They made millions on hate speech or how the white man was keeping them down.Comment

I think it appears that 'we' have bent over backwards from the bros, but in reality with the exception of affirmative action which I have always been against, those social programs being discussed are for the benefit of all races.Comment

Wrong.. back in the late 80's when I wanted to be a fireman I was told by some firemen to not even waste my time because all they were hiring were blacks and women because they were low on the quota for them. White men had no chance.
