If you can find the information you're looking for, that's all that matters. On another forum maybe there are only 2 posts per day but a quick search takes you immediately to the most recent results you were looking for. Here? Truth is that most of the best programmers / designers do not work in the adult industry nor have they for ages - GFY is run on the cheap.

With that said, most here accept GFY for what it is despite its numerous limitations ... a free meeting place to mostly shoot the crap while picking up / trading some business ideas along the way. Plus often acts as a defacto support forum for many affiliate programs, billers, etc ... and of course a well known advertising venue, though its utility for that has greatly waned as the on-line adult industry continues to consolidate.

I'd think maybe vbulletin search isn't coded very well but larger vbulletin forums don't seem to have any problem keeping their search feature working. Maybe it's a trick to get more posts created, because people can't do a simple search to find sponsors for their niche traffic so they have to post new threads instead.
