That's more what I was thinking. No doubt the artist has got skills, and to it to ink with such detail is really amazing, but I wouldn't use Dali as my comparison.
Note to the the "this is overdone and lame, that is overdone and lame" people...

If you want to get some ink, do it, and don't give a shit what anyone thinks about it. If you start going down the "oh that's so unique" path, and saying shit like "i wanted something different" you're an idiot, because it's ALL been done to death now...
