Nope. My friend use to get them from some guy on occasion and I told him he basicaly is a thief and his friend should go to jail and get a real job. He's offered me a chance to watch them I refused. I never even considered going. Hollywood has show that they can't do superhero movies worth a damn. Except may be My Super Ex-Girlfriend. That was pretty funny. Of course it wasn't based on an established character either though.

Im a huge Spiderman fan...and went to see the movie on its opening night...
Ok, I had high expectations, was really looking forward to see Venim and all, but still...I was disapointed. (but I heard the producer didn't like Venim too much and didn't want him to be the ''center'' of the movie ).
Too many vilains I think. I mean, we see the ''birth'' (how they arrive, who they are bla bla...) of each one, which takes time, then the body of the movie and its over. Bam!
I thought it could've lasted another hour or so to be really complete. I couldn't believe it was ending like this. Seems like a lot was missing.

Saw it last night. I thought it was great. It is leading up to a lot of of new plots for the following movies. Only problem is I sit there thinking how they did each effect during the movie hehe. I thought it was great, probably better than 2, not better than 1 though.Comment

Yes its leading up to a ton of more plots coming. IIRC from the comic books JJ jamensons son (in spidey 2) that Mary Jane left at the altar also turns into a villian. Something to do with a space mission he goes on or something? Anyone that knows the comics better than I want to let me know if Im right on that?Comment

Actually a Spiderman 4 like most likely involve Peter's profesor turning into the Lizzard.
I don't get all the haters. It's obvious most of them are barely out of high school. If the movie had zero plot, zero explanations and nothing but blood and gore for 90 minutes then they'd say it's great. These are the same people that think movies like Hostel and it's ilk are great. The haters keep saying no one liked it when that's obviously is wrong. $300 million in the US so far. Over $150 million after opening week-end when work of mouth of it's suckiness would have gotten out. Hmmmmmm. So far every major movie that has come out so far has sucked according to the haters. These people must live miserable lives since nothing appearantly lives up to their standards.Comment

As a longtime comics fan (I even was manager of a comic book store once), this movie wasn't all that great.
Obviously due to time constraints, the movie cannot stay true to a comic book storyline, that's fine.
The two major issues I had were:
1) The MJ/Parker love story takes up too much screentime
2) Spidey beats the villains WAY too easily. Venom was one of his fiercest foes every since his first appearance, yet Spidey beats him within a few mere minutes. Granted, I'd think Venom will be back in a larger role in Spidey 4, perhaps with Carnage, but still that ending sucked.Skype variuscr - Email varius AT gmailComment

The symbiont feeds off anger. Peter Parker is not normally an angry guy. Showing how much he loves then loses MJ explains why the symbiont is able to turn him into an asshole. Now the sequence of him walking down the street like Saturday Night Fever was gay could have been cut down( we got it after the first 20 seconds ) and the whole dance routine at the bar where MJ works was dumb. They could have cut that scene down. The aunt explaining how she got her wedding ring could have been cut. She could have just gave him the ring. I've never said the movie was perfect( no movie is ) but it doesn't suck.Comment
