I would normally completely agree with you, but their core router or routers went offline for a couple days.. that was a complete network meltdown (all servers), and then their continued issues with power which fucks with the core routers every time. Now recently a DNS issue. It's just scary how they are keeping it together.
I spoke to someone about their issues and they told me that DH used to offer dedicated solutions, they don't anymore because the building their are housed in actually doesn't have any more capacity for powering all those servers. It's an old warehouse converted into a "datacenter". When you look at customer/server ratio when your analyzing power consumption the logical choice is to squish as many people on a server as possible and scrap your colo and dedicated servers.
