I have no complaints about vista, and I don't see why everyone is so fucking upset about it. I just want to make sure software I buy works with it. So far I have only encountered 1 program that doesn't work with it, which was unified stats. I'm sure there's other programs that don't work, but everything I use works..
Also, I don't want to contact each program individually, hence I made this post.
why did you go with the 64 bit version? So many incompatibilites...
I'm fine with the 32 bit version(most progs/hardware works), but I wouldn't use the 64 bit, even though I have a 64 bit processor
I have a dual-xeon machine that I mainly use for heavy programs, and video rendering etc.. not to forget multitasking. In short, I like to use excessive amounts of ram.
..and what incompatibilities? Vegas video works, all adobe products work, openoffice works, and small apps like textpad and ftp proggies etc work. As I said the only program so far that hasn't worked is unified stats.
I'm thinking most of the whining about the OS comes from people who
a) Don't use it
b) Hate Microsoft
c) Use pirated version / RC1 / RC2
