Hey you're back, just noticed. It was the weather sig.Well, I for one have great admiration for you Paul!
I admire that you made your living in the days when >95% of this industry where not even born or only just in school. That you persevered through hard times and revelled in good times. That you found your lovely wife. That you fought cancer and survived. That you came out the other end after all that and still retired in a nice home, with a lovely wife, and enjoy still what you do. The fact that you still post on GFY and take abuse, when clearly you have been there done that, got the teeshirt, is amazing, cos I wouldn't do it.
There really aren't very many people in this industry that are of your age that have done what you have done. I'd like to ask every single one of your haters how they see themselves at retirement age, cos I doubt a fraction would ever be where you are when they get there.
To you sir, I bow my hat.
Doing puzzles isn't for me, but shit, I've got 30 yrs yet to get to enjoy it!!
Now flame on in the piracy shit!!

As for jigsaws. I had a time when I was playing computer games and after a while found them incredibly boring, just me I suppose. A good book, create my own recipes (did one today), jigsaws and our daughter are keeping me busy.
In the Spring we will buy a dog and I plan to go out and start shooting more of the local countryside, while walking him. And will have to train him.
Life is good in retirement, but do miss the countless naked horny females who turned up every day.

While I may or may not agree with some of Paul's ideas posted on this board, I have nothing but admiration for his personal history and his attitude, and I am actually a fan. Geez, I was even thinking to setup a fanclub (and no irony here...)

Reading, writing, fishing, golf, model making the list is long. It's minus 4-6 here most days and I hate the cold, so this hobby keeps me occupied and indoors where it's warm. When it warms up I will get a dog, start to go for long walks and take pictures.

There are some silicone gels/glues that you can buy in some stores (some puzzles come with it), that you just mix with water and then apply it on it.
since it's silicone gel it keeps it together and it's pretty elastic, it's also transparent and itis applied over the picture. It keeps the things lot easier once you put it all together...
