Xbox or Playstation for FPS games?

PS3 will take over once the good games come out down the road

I've always just liked xbox better in general.. the controller especially.

They are both killer for FPS's - I would go with the 360 for Halo3 alone.
(the multiplayer beta thats going on right now is SICK)

GTA IV is on 360 as well. Also Call Of Duty 4 is (set in modern times).
Splinter Cell: Conviction is also going to kick big ass.

Right now, the 360. But Resistence is an AWESOME FPS game and there's another coming out soon called Haze that will be PS3 only for 4 months or so. It's be the team that did the Timesplitters games and looks like it's going to be a hit.

I love my 360, but am gearing up to finally being able to give me PS3 some consistant loving.

Some people don't like playing games on the computer... I know I don't, when I'm finished my work I want to be somewhere else, and lying in my hammock in front of the TV playing games works nicely

Might not have been updated yet, this was announced a few days ago...earlier this week.

I'd go for the 360 Brad. PS3 is a great console, but it still needs more time/titles before anyone can justify the $700 pricetag. 360 has plenty of fun FPS games out with multiplayer :D

I would like to pick up a ps3 sometime for a few games. Even better if I could use a keyboard/mouse for them for the FPS games. One reason why I hate halo and other FPS games on consoles
