That program sucks. I hate those site rippers that download your entire site by requesting a hundred pages per second too.
You used to be able to block them by using the header info, but now most of them look like IE to the server. Probably the same with the software you linked.Comment

hmmm it must be possible to write a line of code which would block it no?
i mean tgsw can be set to look like a normal browser yet some tgps can stop it...
maybe someone could code some to stop these bandwith suckers

We've used an htaccess with User Agent filtering, but that's as far as we've been able to go in blocking these site rippers. Is there some better way to catch them?Comment

There's an apache module that allows you to limit how much bandwidth or how many requests a remote ip is allowed to
use. It won't stop a site ripper but it can slow it down quite a bit.
