regardless of what folks say in the microcosm of GFY, in modern western society you will see a paucity of visible tattoos in academia, corporate boardrooms, or on the trophy wives of men who have made it into the upper social strata.

I think they are OK, but tats alone is not a turn on, more like, something that you can overlook.
The only problem with them is, it's supposed to an expression of self determination, and individuality, but there is really nothing original about them at all.
Every woman over the age of 18 (Many times younger) has a tramp stamp now...it's just old.
