Getting into specifics in answering this post is pointless. It's just a baiting troll.

What are some of your opinions on what would have happened in WW2 had the US not gotten involved in Europe?

In the US stories to come out of WW2 are sacred, and WW2 Hollywood movies portray US soldiers as the biggest studs of all time without mentioning what the Russians did.

Some believe that had the US military not gotten involved that Hitler would have crossed the Atlantic and invaded the US. Realistically, was that possible? Could Russia have put the nails in the Nazi coffin on their own without US involvement?

The UK would have been overrun if the US had not given them supplies. They were flat broke and simply couldn't afford the war.

I have read that Hitler wanted to take England first, but believed he needed air superiority. So instead he invaded Russia.

First, the British were broke and got $50b from the US in supplies to fight the war.
Lent not gave. UK finished paying back the loan earlier this year. Also seem to recall it was US$5 billion but am open to correction on that

                  And again way too sensitive!

Take any one of the three main components out of the equation USA,UK, USSR and the result would have been very different as any two together would have been unlikely to defeat the Germans. The thread is just a 'my dick is bigger than your dick' argument

Prob correct Tom - also remember this was a world war on several fronts.

Agree.. it's the usual old GFY crap syndrome about dick size - easy when they never played a roll, but just talk

It might have been. The US passed a bill that authorized up to $50b I believe.
