Was this an OCCash project? No. It is something he took on freelance and we have nothing to do with. The deal was with bluespadegroup.inc, not OCCash.
Why does OCCash even wind up in the thread title?
Because Jace is willing to throw us under the bus for his own gains. There are a million other ways this could have been handled.

second, I'm posting in here because i like Jace, i get along with him and hes a cool cat, and how Jay acted towards him was uncalled for and unprofessional, so i'm doing my part by keeping these threads alive, so people can see how he reacted and maybe throw a little insight at him and let him know "hey jay, maybe you should be a little more professional to reflect good on your business"
thirdly, if Ryan taking freelance jobs for Jace has anything to do with me, you, or occash, then why was it brought to the boards? its a public board, if we shouldn't have anything to do with it, it shouldn't have been brought here...

Because he attatches his name to yours by introducing himself as Ryan from OCCash and using the email addy you provided him to conduct his business. Then he goes and flakes out on side projects he took, while using your company name and dragging it down. Your current/former employees are an extension of your company and I would be pissed at Ryan for still using that name and email to conduct side business with in the first place if not working with you, and I would be pissed at him for flaking out if he was still a contractor for you currently when flaking on the job.
Jace could have handled it maybe different, but the real blame falls on Ryan in this matter.
This issue doesn't also stop at employees/contractors working on side projects on their own time under your company flag, but also for some employees who post on these msg boards that spew their views all over the place while flying your company name and sig. (btw this comment isn't about OCCash, but all companies who have employees post on boards).
