haha. yeah thats not gonna fly. i remember when some rookie club promoter in san diego jacked the bunny for a party and was calling it the official afterhours for something or another. they quickly shut him down.
the smart thing is they aren't using the rabbit. they'll still get burned on calling it playboy mansion, but that bunny thing has fucked alot alot of people.

Oh, the irony...
Whitehat is for chumps
If you don't do it, somebody else will - true story!
I imagine there must be times when the term playboy could be used in language and some things expresed or described as a matter of it being used in it's general meaning by the dictionary and it's use by someone in that sense, after all the word exisited beofre the magazine and company did, for they didn't invent the term, it already existed, and it's use to that extent still would not be a problem sometimes, unless it directly infringed on something about the company in some way to confuse people or misrepresent something, especially commerciall or anything for profit or gain, etc. but any use of the term at all isn't wrong or out of bounds
hmm, it's kind of grey, they where very clever with their wordin such as using words (like a playmate) and (turning into the playboy mansion)
Jimmy, not really grey at all. Look at the image... the biggest word on the page is "PLAYMATE!". If I take a 1 second glance at that promo, I would think that it would be a party involving playboy girls. The "Playboy Mansion" is also fairly clear, and that adds to the impression that playboy might be part of it.
Slam dunk, no problem. These guys better get out the lube because they are about to get bunny fucked.

I find it strange they go after something so petty when they are being fucked stupid by their own advertisers like AFF and DatingGold
On the January 14, 2004, the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that Playboy Enterprises Inc.'s (PEI) trademark terms "Playboy" and "Playmate" should be protected even in Internet searches that prompt pop-up advertisements. The suit originally started on April 15, 1999, when Playboy sued Excite Inc. and Netscape for trademark infringement. Attorneys Barry Felder, Catherine McGrath and Matthew Moren represented Playboy.
In 1997, Welles started an online business selling pictures of herself. On her website, she described herself as a former Playboy model and Playmate of the Year. Playboy Enterprises, which was starting up its own online business at this time, sued Welles in 1998, claiming that it had the exclusive right to use of its trademark terms "Playboy" and "Playmate of the Year" for commercial purposes. The outcome of the suit, Playboy Enterprises, Inc. v. Welles[1], was that virtually all of Welles' uses of the terms were considered nominative uses, and did not infringe.
