The reality is...something is going to shake out legally here. The laws WILL change (not because of porn of course, but because of mainstream) and when they do...all this crap will be meaningless.
I predict within 2 to 5 years there will be a replacement for the outdated DMCA law AND international copyright treaties updated to reflect the internet age and the technologies therein.
The trick is to be smart enough and quick enough to survive until then.

I agree with you Robbie.
However, on the other hand... I always fear what will come next. Lord only knows when some laws get changed if they will leave some loop hole in place that will fuck things up even worse. One of those, "be careful what you wish for" things.
