It was early Tuesday morning, around 12:30, when three men knocked on the door of an Ajax, Ont., home and told the family that they had a search warrant. They wore black clothing, had bullet proof vests, and their car was equipped with a flashing red light and a siren.
When the family let them inside, though, all six were handcuffed using plastic ties and forced into the basement.
It was over three hours before police were called to the scene.

I'm fairly certain (as in 100%) that I would be asking to see the warrant at the door AND their badges before letting them in, but I'm also just as certain that a lot of people out there would just as easily fall for this scam.
Fake cops. Christ, what level WON'T the scamming shitheads out there stoop to?
