                                        Apples to oranges.. Sunny is super intelligent, incredibly business-minded and has the tenacity to see her goals through to completion. From what I can see, and this is no real offense to JaneB, just an observation, that she is pretty insecure and has to fight very hard to make sure she's right. I hope that she realizes soon that as a female in this industry, AND content, you have to be more willing to turn the other cheek than to open your mouth and insert your foot. She has some grandiose ideas and I think that someday she will surely realize her goals, but it seems for now she has some more learning to do.

There were more Mom and Pop amateur sites back in '99 and '00 making good $$. Lots of those used AVS, Globill, i.e. the billing companies that have vanished, they were small operations without their own merchant accounts. Lots of them have just vanished. The new 'amateurs' are all backed by big companies that have merchant accounts.

If a person has certain pre-existing conditions, it may be very costly for them to buy it on their own. I knew an epileptic gentleman who paid over $400 a month for health insurance.
