As a purist myself in many areas, I have to remind myself to turn that part of my brain off some of the time for business. Sometimes I have to go with what I prefer, but I know I'm leaving money on the table doing so.
The sex in fetish thing is honestly my personal preference though. I've written and shot for all the major fetish magazines in pretty much the world, but I used to be fairly worked up on the issue of "true" fetish vs. sexual fetish. I usually found that anyone who told me what counted as fetish in real life tended to want to do whatever that was with me, but others' mileage may vary. Too much information?
