US government trying to seize new Michael Moore film

The film has already caused Moore - who won the Palme d'Or at Cannes in 2004 with Fahrenheit 911 - to clash with the American authorities. Now, according to movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, whose Weinstein Company is behind the film, the US government is attempting to impound the negative.

Weinstein appeared to be enjoying the brouhaha that the film is
stirring up before it has even screened. 'I've already told the Treasury
that they are saving me money on advertising.'

gee... who could guess that the backer of the film, who launches it again in France, where the greatest "anti-bush"/"anti-US" sentiment could be found, is trying to fabricate free publicity and capitalize on anti-republican sentiment by suggesting that the US government is trying to shut Michael Moore up... as if that was possible.

          jesus... talk about sheeple.

They are the founders of Miramax .... They are masters at promotion.
Many movies uses the Cannes Film Festival as a launching pad .... Do some research... Naturally, that doesn't apply for " Dumb & Dummer " ...

Typical Nazi-Bush regime. I wouldn't give them fucking squat. The Bush Nazis don't want the American people to find out all the bullshit they are cramming up our asses, all the lies and deceit.
I hope Micheal Moore shoves it up their asses so far they bleed from the ears.
How much longer do we has with this worthless Bush bastard?

I would assume he attempts to show the sheep how fucked up the US health care system is. There is nothing wrong with our doctors or medicine.. However insurance companies are much like big oil.

The insurance companies control everything and because of it, there will never be a real govt provided health plan. It's not in the best interests of big insurance companies hence it will never happen.

The other issue with the pharmaceutical companies is, they aren't in the business of healing people but rather treating them. The old saying rings true.. "There is no money in a cure, but there is a lot of money in treatments"

This is why the govt should be doing more in funding medical research at university level.

Whereas you on the other hand, rolling out totally unoriginal comments after many arduous seconds of research into establishing what your point of view should be...? Well, how exactly would you describe yourself?

Moore and Miramax are masters of promotion. This is nothing but free press for them.

I'm interested in seeing it. Like anything Moore does you have to take it with a grain (if not boulder) of salt, but often he has some interesting points.

Our health care system is at the mercy of big insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies so I would assume he has dug up some nice dirt on them.
