Because at this point, 3 month's is a rather significant portion of his entire life time.
Most people count a baby's life in terms of months until they reach 2.

Oh no... definitely not. 2 is plenty.
I'm a work-a-holic as it is, and I vow to never neglect my children, to always make sure they get enough attention from me.

And it can be a struggle even with one... 2 will be interesting, but I could never promise enough time to 3 or more and that wouldn't be fair to them.
