Yep, they get bored for all sorts of reasons you can imagine and at this age they change their "long term" decisions faster than their clothes...a bullet proof contract and as much content as possible shot in the first weeks are the only remedy.

They don't see it as business, they see it as fast and easy money and once they see it's real work and they don't become Paris Hilton overnight, many quit.

Steve, you are 100% correct on this, but if you close a site, why not do it responsibly?

Like telling the affiliates about the site closing BEFORE it closes so we are not sending traffic to dead links (or to other sites, or to same site on different program, etc etc)

Hey everyone! Noticed the issues regarding solo girl sites, and wanted to mention that I've had my own solo site up and running for about a year and a half now. Once a site is up, it's up and the costs are minimal if you don't work it. Just leave it and take the little it makes. Why take it down?

They did not have enough money to pay the models, so did a rev share deal and the models have some control over the content, could be an answer. If you pay models you own the content, you do with it as you please.

Exactly, and our girls tend to be paid better than most in the industry and yet we've still had a few problems. We've learned to not only have enough content, but to control the domain(s) as well!

Then theres the guys who don't manage the site(s) properly and when the girl moves on the guy stops paying them the money they have earned and continue to run the site with old recycled content lying to surfers and fucking affiliate rebill ratios.

You could accomplish the same by giving performance bonuses or profit sharing without giving up a piece of your business to somebody who does not understand what is going on or who can leave you high and dry at any time.

Pay them for the shoots or put them on salary and you own the content without any headaches. Offer them a percentage and you are setting yourself up for problems if/when they become unhappy or decide to get out of the biz.
