That is cool. You have your opinion and I have mine. I personally know many couples that own multiple websites that run them by themselves. I do not think a lot of people know that they are the ones running the websites themselves. Plus the amateur market is huge and most of those websites are ran but the content and his or her spouse.Comment

All the time. I have a friend whos sister just married her boyfriend for the insurance coverage that she needed for her blackouts.
Our health care industry is pretty fucked up unless you're working for a big company or have enough to buy your own. If you've had pre-existing conditions, the insurance can be ridiculously expensive.Comment

Yeah whatever Aaron. My site does very well even though I don't dress like a 14 year old and have stuffed animals all over my bed. Not everyone is into sites that make 18 year olds look like they are in high school. Some of us can make money not trying to look like a little pre-teen girl. You may want to try it sometime. Most content models are not clueless. They are a hell of a lot smarter then most of the people I have seen on here.

Now, let me say this - I know many models. I can count a handful that are not clueless when it comes to this business. There are some very savvy girls that know how to network and have real business acumen. Now, that doesn't mean the rest are stupid BUT after being in this business 10+ years I can honestly say the fruitcakes, nuts, off the wall banannas type models far outweigh the truly "not clueless".
I understand that you feel you need to defend content models since you fall into that category ... but when you say "most" I have to say you're being more defensive than realistic.
Obviously, I don't know you and you don't know me BUT if you've been around any significant amount of time you can step outside yourself and be honest and say "ok. maybe I'm a little off when I said most content models are "not clueless".

First off let me clear this up. I fall into a lot of categories. Content, webmaster, I own two TGP sites and I also own websites that I am not on. So I am a hell of a lot more then content. Ther are some dumb content models, I never said there were not. There are also a lot of dumb webmasters as well. I just think it is pathetic that people are always ripping on the content models on here. It is so stupid. You need them like they need you, so why be so rude to them? I guess because the morons on here find themselves funny.
