    Halo 3 Beta.

    so this shit is pretty badass. just got done downloading it about an hour ago.

    so far i am impressed with the graphics, for only being a beta version, they are pretty damn good. the levels looks great, lots of different land features and strategic points to use.

    sucks the real game won't be out till septemper 25th.

    anyone else playing this tonight? my xbox live gamertag is 'oligarchy'.

    hit me up if you want to play some match making.

      I downloaded it this morning and was less than impressed. It's the same game as halo and halo 2. It's just another FPS. It's nothing special at all. Anyone who thinks the halo series is groundbreaking or innovative hasn't been playing games long.

      Combine the dull gameplay with the squeaky-voiced teenage boys and the wiggers and you have a fantastic game to avoid. One positive thing I can say about the beta is that it has taken the riff-raff from the rest of the FPS games that I actually play.

          i dunno, i've been playing computer games for quite some time, and I find it pretty innovative.

          halo 2 really took online play to a whole new level.

          but, whatever, that's your opinion.

              haven't gotten a chance to play it yet dl'ed it earlier today, i've heard mixed reviews so far but i'll have to judge that for myself

                              Haha. Halo 2 did NOT take online gaming to a whole new level. The original Halo was fun. Halo 2 had a shitty ending, and Halo 3 is gonna suck just as bad as 2. I played for an hour last night and then deleted the beta and took Crackdown back to EB Games.

                                  There is NOTHING innovative in Halo 3. It's the exact same gameplay as Halo 2. And Halo 2 was just another FPS, it did NOT take online play to a whole new level. EA's Battlefield series has done 10000% more for online play then Halo ever will. But whatever, that's my opinion, and it's the only opinion that counts unless you're going to buy the retail release of Halo 3 for me.

                                      Exactly!! I've been saying that for a while now...a friend of mine is the exact opposite...he's not coordinated enough to use a keyboard and mouse and will only use the sticks...lame.

                                                      Gears of war is still the best shooting game, online and off.

                                                          Yeah gotta say halo 2 was a total rehash of halo 1 all the levels felt and looked the same !
