    mexican coca cola

    i scored a bottle of mexican coca cola from this grocery store last night and its made with sugar cane instead of high fructose corn syrup.. i gotta say it tastes wayyyy better! was pretty taxed for a bottle of soda, but shit it tastes so much better. its sweeter and doesnt really have that throat burning after effect..

                                                              High Frutose Corn Syrup is the sweetener of choice in the US because it costs less than sugar. BUT is not good for you, an un-natural creation. Since they are literally burning corn as ethenol now and corn prices are rising sugar might become more attractive, it is healthier.

                                                                                                                              One of the local Mexican restaurants sells Mexican Coca Cola.. it is pretty good. Around $2.50 a bottle.

                                                                                                                                          The Mexican FDA is enforcing the cleaning of things like the bottles, and the purchased drinking water, as well as ice. The only thing that dont have a law regulating right now, is the washing if salad's. So be very careful in that area.

                                                                                                                                              It used to be made in Mexico, but they had some issues with the plant, and shut it down.

                                                                                                                                                  That may be true in Mexico, but this is Tijuana...(I know it's a part of Mexico, I'm not a jackass). Tijuana if you've ever been there is nothing like the most of Mexico, there seem to be no rules or you make your own rules...1 of the 2. So I wouldn't trust anything you pay for in TJ to be authentic or guaranteed not to give you the runs for days.

I was at the INM building that bridges the lanes back to the US. Mc Donalds was jammed, so I grabbed one at the taco stand next to the Caliente.

                                                                                                                                                          If Coca-Cola wants to increase the number of soda drinkers in the United States they need to use some real fucking sugar. All of the soda in Mexico tastes fucking awesome; I drink juice and water in the states.

                                                                                                                                                          The real problem with corn syrup and sugar is that the sugar has all kinds of quotas and tariffs while US farmers get fucking subsidies and help from the government. Fuck those cock sucking sleeze balls they should be poor living on trailer parks and not million dollar farms.
