      Too bad they would never do a story on recovering Jesus addicts. I'd say religion by far has done more damage to mankind than anything else out there.

                              Amazing (not really)...Donny didn't mention "The Game" once when the TV cameras were rolling, even though it played the central role in his meltdown.

                              Oh yeah, of course not, that might reflect badly upon him - and afterall his true story is not really one about repentance, but about hate and revenge.

                              Instead on camera he smiles and talks about his "disapproving family" in general terms as the reason for his conversion. He leaves out that in the past he himself indicated that his pastor father wanted to see photos of congregation members whom Donny had shot, or that he got his brother and cousin into the industry (he had to fire his brother, supposedly because he kept hitting on the models).

                              He also never mentions the POV porn shoots he participated in, or the seamier parts of his past. Instead, he portrays himself almost heroically as a top photographer for Playboy.

                              Donny's life remains a mess, he lost his house, and most of the respect the industry had for him, and yet despite his conversion to Christ, he continues to babble on another porn board about his thoughts of suicide, espousing vindictiveness towards others, about how he is not forwarding mail to his ex, and such.

                              Pastor Gross and others apparently don't mind as long as they can take their porn poster boy on the road and milk him for PR, and more importantly for $$$.

                              Donny has even bragged about how much he gets paid for such dog and pony gigs (he gets thousands of dollars for telling sanitized versions of his story, which never reveal his own depravity and the mental sickness that he still suffers from).

                              Because of their media savvy, the xxx church has gotten a long free publicity ride by the media, but once Donny's story has been researched and exposed, that will be the end of the Jesus shakedown circuit for him, and possibly his cohorts, although in all likelihood they will just cut him loose, since they care about money more than the truth or God...and especially about Donny...

                                                                                                          Oh yeah, I forgot about this crap. He is NOT acting like a TRUE Christian. He is filled with hate, anger, and revenge. He is not looking at himself or his own fuck ups and taking responsibility for them, as a real Christian would do. So that is why I think this is about attention and is not about becoming a better person, or he would not be posting on any boards. He would move on, apologize for HIS mistakes and find peace.

                                                                                                          Ya can't choose the mistakes you like, or the mistakes that feel safe to face. Ya have to face them ALL, if you are going to follow the Christian belief's correctly. (Or if you just want to make yourself a better person) I think they call that facing the piper or something.

It just really makes me sad because it's those kind of things that pushed me away from religion in the first place. I can respect him believing in God, everyone needs to believe in something, but God and revenge and jealousy really don't mix, and I hope Donny can forgive others so he can finally find peace and forgiveness in himself. I think the real issue here, which is turning everyone off, is not his belief's but his complete immaturity towards accepting people who live and think different than him.

He is hurt over the fact he lost his girl because of his own desires to have other women in that relationship and instead of facing that he is running away and lashing out at the people who he claimed to be friends with and lashing out at what they do for a living, for example AaronM and his wonderful camera. hehe
