If the Players Ball had a rock band, who would you want to see?

End of discussion. Book those 2.OK, here's how I see it.
Keep in mind, I pick artists based on how much I think I can from webmasters to sponsor the event. For the summer shows, it seems like people spend a little less then in January.
That being said, I usually set realistic goals based on my measure of interest I get from people to pony up the money. So far, I know I have a few supporters that always show their support, so that tells me I can pull off a party or 2 this summer. If the measure of interest is increased because sponsors are super big fans of the groups, then I can possibly raise more money to afford a bigger name artist. That's how my Players Ball always works.
This time, what I see with these prices I can pretty much pull off any of these at these prices.
Tenacious D- $50k
Queens of the Stone Age $35-50kComment

I'm making a serious run for Tenacious D right now.
That would be a great way to entertain webmasters while doing a rock show.
But I'm looking into all options.
Queens of the Stone Age would be dope too.
Decisions decisions.
I just felt like showing you all what I go through behind close doors everytime I do a party. Look at the prices, figure on what people would like the most.
Since it seems more webmasters support rock, let's see if the sponsors step up more for this then the rap parties. If they do, then we all win.Still Ballin'Comment

KB and I are friends with his whole camp.
I got a credit in one of his documentaries for my behind the scenes footage. He was also a client of my Marketing Firm.
And even with all of that, he'd still be around $100k.
But I can easily make that happen if sponsors step up.Last edited by D-Money; 05-10-2007, 02:48 PM.Still Ballin'Comment

I already know he's well over $100k.
I've looked into him already and decided after 2 seconds that I'd never pay more then $10k for a guy like that. And I'd only pay him to do a song or 2 and be a celebrity host.
And I'll buy him a beer.Still Ballin'Comment

Foo Fighters put on an insane show.. probably expensive just like the chillis.. Green Day etc.. but how about something along the lines of 3 days grace? Insane live show, great energy etc.. bloc party is another solid option. Glad to see it going rock.ICQ: 72251955 GTalk: JuiceMonkeyComment

Dude I totally agree!Man I'm telling you, The Bloodhound Gang is the only kinda rock band that would fit the Player's Ball style of a show. Other than someone like Kid Rock maybe.
The Ballad Of Chasey Lain
F.U.C.K
Hell I'd even try and coax you out of a ticket if you brought in the Bloodhound Gang

Metallica!!! (or any rock band formed prior to '91)
But it's about time this industry paid some respect to rock 'n roll. I am so sick of this rap crap I could scream!!! I am a rock chick for sure!!!
Rock 'n Roll brought us the famous tight black mini skirt and red high heels. (or any variation of) How many BEAUTIFUL women come out of rock 'n roll???
Rock Stars get all the hotties!!!
