I have nothing against hypocrites, but anyone who kills an animal and throws away perfectly useable parts for no other reason than it's creepy to someone, is wastefull.

Sarah Palin is an idiot for sure, and I'm definitely no Hunter, and love all animals. I don't really have a problem with her statement in general, but I think using a beautiful (now dead) animal as a rug is really sad. I would never walk on one.

At the same time, PETA is not a good organization, and the person who runs Peta (I forget her name) has some serious issues of her own. She thinks no one should own pets and instead let our cats and dogs run wild in the streets where they would surely suffer and die tragic deaths.

Can hunting animals using high powered firearms, GPS systems, four wheelers, binoculars, and other expensive gear really be called hunting? I never really understood that.

Going solo into the woods with only a bow or something and relying on your senses and knowledge makes sense to me, but I don't think many people do that.
