      Here's a simple biz plan:

      1. buy domain
      2. install wordpress
      3. add google ad sense (or any ad network)
      4. write custom blog posts.

How many post per blog? Answer: add several per day and never stop.
What category? Answer - everything all ready mentioned in this thread.

      Rinse repeat.

And cause I gave you the tip, add a FastCupid.com banner to all your sites :-)

Best thing I guess is to jump in and learn as I go. It's more time consuming but hey, if I want it bad enough....
Mainstream is so diverse, only you can know what you would be best at promoting. I think at this level you just need to use the same basic rule you needed to succeed in adult, know your product and know your customer.

So, what thing do you know the most about? I am sure someone is selling that or you know something you wish you could have found online. While you are at it, blog about the experience. You can add ads later.

        Oh, and what Melo said.

Weight loss: But the truth is that people just need to start exercising and eating better. I just can't sell most of what's out there in terms of weight loss products/services.

But I get what you and Melo are saying overall. Thanks for the info.

So find ways to tell them how to eat better and how to start exercising.

That's not much of a problem but then how to monetize it?

I know I could use adsense. With adult, every page of content I could promote a variety of programs (dating, cams, porn) and earn a good amount. With weight loss, most of the products and services are scammy or not needed.

I didn't forget about you my "friend"!

seoguyzzz ([email protected]) is cheater!!! Do not order SEO from him if you are not prepared to lose your money!
Due to the price he ask the work really must be done manually and with guaranteed result, but not using the submitter program.
At the beginning of our communication seoguyzzz agreed with everything, we had a concrete deal.
I ordered his services as he promised to provide a report not just a list of sites where he posted my links, but list of pages where my links are placed. This is why I paid him 210 USD, but the result which I got from the seoguyzzz the other companies offer for 18 USD. And this result is not what we deal. I think that the seoguyzzz is cheater, he promise one thing, the make something completely different and then say the he misunderstood the task. It seems like he just resells the services of other company, but promises everything what buyer would like to hear. So work is not done as we deal and for my request to give my money back I was refused.

The things seoguyzzz offers for 210 USD here - http://www.wlmarketing.com/directory...n-service.html costs 18 USD.

Eactly. I have a killer niche that is a goldmine. The only problem is there are no affiliate programs to promote and it is seasonal. Its going to take time to bulk up the product, but once done... amazaballz I tell you.....

facebook is now in the mix, which is good and bad

people who had great domains to sell or promote are now competing with facebook members who start a page and can divert traffic to their free pages. I had one of the best handball websites that people from all over the country would forward info and photos of handball related content for free. Now they just share the information on facebook and it has come to the point that I don't have the content or enough contacts to compete on that level. Since my traffic dropped my incentive has changed as far as updating often. So I find myself looking for new online mainstream projects for the future.

I am still very passionate about the sport and still playing often when the weather is not cold.

My opinion with online projects is to get involved with something you enjoy, even my adult projects...I love exotic looking women and married a Japanese girl...so I promote the Japanese/Asian niche. I can make a ton of money selling gay content but do I want to look at that content....NO.

my next mainstream projects is something related to Tokyo Fashion and another is security cameras.

There's not a lot of money to be made anywhere right now in the current economy. I was shocked when the FED actually admitted on the news - High Unemployment projected for the next 5 years. So, that means about 10 years.

Don't think your gonna just toss up a site and make money. Apparently a lot of people are convinced of that or they would not have been all about "I'm going Mainstream" on here over the last few years.
