Hollywood Undead...

The new single "Hear Me Now" is out...

Here's a video teaser with lyrics:

Duece is gone...kicked out. New vocalist is Danny Murillo, who made it to Hollywood week on (gasp!) American Idol Season 9.

I've been a fan of HU for awhile now...love everything from back in the unsigned days ("Dead in Ditches," "The Natives," "Circles") through Swan Songs. Wasn't to impressed with the *new* stuff on Desperate Measures...seemed like they phoned it in for their covers of "Shout at the Devil" and "Immigrant Song."

I hope "Hear Me Now" is an indication of how the upcoming album will be. It has mainstream appeal, but I love that they seem to be going in a more melodic rock sound, and less on the hardcore rapper image.

I am not the least bit dissappointed that Duece is gone. From my personal experience meeting the band after the show, Duece came off as a douchebag. I had my son there (8 years old at the time), and we hung out behind the club after the show. Funny Man was the first to eagerly sign the set list for my son. Him, along with live drummer Biscuitz, Charlie Scene, Johnny 3 Tears and Da Kurlzz all expressed their gratitude that my son was so into them, and chatted it up with him about what he thought of the show. When we got to Duece, he was more concerned with finding girls chests to sign than anything else. It was like pulling teeth to get him to acknowledge us. Just got a total bad vibe from him.

Here's a pic of the signed set list, which I framed for my son and is now hanging in his room:

Anyway, back to "Hear Me Now." Let's hear your thoughts, Undead Army.
