    GoDaddy's Backorder Service...

    Anyone ever had any luck with GoDaddy's domain backorder service? I was beyond skeptical when I tried it several years ago...but what's $20? No big deal. Every time the domain changed in any way I'd get an email letting me know. Well, 4 years later, I get the email that says the domain is mine! HA!

                  same thing happened to me, but by the time I got it, we could not legally have casinos.. so it sits and waits.

                      A one-time fee! I think at the time it was only $14.95. There are no ongoing fees when the domain isn't yours

                              I use GoDaddy's backorder service regularly. Like you said, what's $20, and you can alwaysmove the thing to a different domain if it fails and you wat to chase something else. It's not by far the best backorder service around but it has snagged me some decent ones.

                                  I have actually had good results back-ordering domains with godaddy, picked up a couple of good ones for cheap
