Carrying concealed weapons in Texas is quite legal if one has obtained the proper permit and police officers are also quite aware of the fact and herefore do not wig out like whiny, tight-assed liberals a the prospect of encountering a lawfully armed citizen.
Realising that the idea of a citizen exercising his/her Second Amendment Right and though that right, obtaining a permit to carry a weapon in a concealed manner often causes so-called "liberals" to run projectially at both ends, it is nevertheless a fact that the lawfully Armed Citizen is a good thing.
The scenario described by garco and others simply does not happen and the Armed Citizen stops or prevents over 2,000,000 crimes annually.
