Would it be a good idea to point them to a intermediate landing page on a separate domain just in case?

Nope. If for some reason your domain is banned from Google, it won't be because of us.

You can if you like, but our service is really designed to benefit existing pre-registered paysite domains that are unable to establish their own link trades.

All the links come from the root level. Some of the blog domains are setup to have the "friends" links on every page of the site as well.

It totally depends on how they do it. Also, TLA is still in business so maybe the impact of the campaign Cutts was talking about has yet to be felt?

Are these links using anchor text? Are descriptions allowed? If so, how long? Can clients use "cluster keywords" in rotation or can they only use one keyword?

You can use any type of anchor text you like, including multiple anchors that we'll rotate randomly. As for descriptions, in the places your links go ("friends" or "other sites" sections of sites in sidebars or at the bottom), there is no room for a description.

We offer adult sites only, hence the adultonewaylinks domain... If I had a source of .edu and .gov backlinks you could rest assured I wouldn't be selling them for $3 apiece
