This letter from August of this year sent by GAC Chairman Heather Dryden to ICANN Board Chairman Peter Dengate-Thrush might give some indication of GAC's general disposition toward .XXX.
Note the bits about the need for "procedures to identify strings that could raise national, cultural, geographic, religious and/or linguistic sensitivities or objections" and that such procedures "should apply to all pending and future TLDs."
This is far from establishing that the GAC is against the approval of .XXX, of course, but it doesn't take a lot of reading in between the lines to understand that .XXX could very well be something that could inspire some of the "sensitivities or objections" referenced in the letter.
