So, I Made The Mistake Of Telling My GF I Didn't Like Her New Hair Style

She always had long, brunette curly hair which i always really liked. She always used to get compliments on her hair off many people when she was out and stuff too.

Today, she got it cut short and straight. Although i would maybe get used to it, i told her i didn't like it (and still don't). Big mistake !

Guys, don't ever, EVER, tell your girlfriend/wife you don't like their hair. I think i'm about to suffer for a few weeks for this...

IMHO, tell her you wouldn't want to short-change your relationship with her by lying to her, and that you're sure the new style will grow on you.

Then remind her in different ways that you're not with her because of the way her hair looks, but because she is who she is.

Did that with my gal, and a year later - she's grown her hair back without me having to lie about my feelings or having to spend a single night in the doghouse.
