A Cook's Tour by Anthony Bourdain and 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I keep starting and stopping the Marquez, but I'm determined to make it through the entire book.Comment

It's not as smart-assy as you might think, but it's still classic Bourdain and per usual, he writes extremely well. If you love that kind of Bourdain food-snark, you should read his guest blog on Ruhlman. I was actually giddy the first time I read it.
I'll let you know about 100 Years of Solitude. I've been slogging through it and hope its going to take off soon.Comment
