    whats the best software for optimizing videos?

    batch optimize would be nice to .. trying to optimize a .wmv
    ive been using adobe premire pro but the whole process isnt quik and easy..
    Making a $$ with the help of these guys!

      I ended up using windows movie maker it is simple and does a fairly good job when ya need to shrink wmv ... no batch tho so it still kinda sucks..

                      Sorenson squeeze isn't too bad, had good results with it.

                      I need to test Compressor 3 though for Mac, looks promising!

                          not only simple to use but u can do basicly everything with it

                              Yeah it makes things pretty easy.. I've had a couple crashes in the past but not recently and I haven't grabbed the latest version yet either. The only thing I find annoying now is the editor.. It's too slow when you have a bunch of clips you want to cut up etc... But when it comes to just doing a bunch of conversions, dumping out a bunch of thumbs etc., it's working great.
