this girl i knew in high school was on the pill because she used to get cysts on her overies, so her body to stop producing eggs would stop the cysts from forming
but my gf has been on the pill for a while, but i still dont trust it alone, the pill is 99% effective if taken consistently... which is why i always try to tell her that a 100% safe method is anal sex, but she doesnt fall for it
on a seroius note, if your girl, or any woman you are banging is taking antibiotics (like tetracycline and ampicillin) it can sometime have effects on the pill to where it doesnt work. there are some studies that say its not true and some that say it is... regardless be careful

Plus with the women I've known, and even the models I deal with who will say during a shoot, "oops. Forgot to take my pill again", I think I'll pass on their 99%.
Plus there are a lot of diseases out there.
I wear a condom, and STILL pull out. Pill, diaphram, or not. I'll pass on the 18 years of pain.

Get some Astroglide lube...it inhibits the motility of sperm giving you more of a chance that you won't knock her up.

Not that it's a "horror story", but yeah. My girl is now 6-8 weeks pregnant. She got pregnant while on the pill. So apparently my boys can swim really fuckin good. But granted this is just one of those rare instances. There is a reason every form of birth control is only 99.9% effective. Plus there are way too many factors to measure in to consider anything to be perfect.
I've had plenty of girlfriends in the past who used so many other forms of birth control. The IUD or inserted thing-o-mabob, the pill, the patch. They're all just as good when properly used.
