Atleast 8 hours per day, 7 days a week. Most of my 'free' time Im into someones howto and testing new things - and learning new stuff.

Does taking the scratchbook with you to the beach count as work ?

Less than 1-2/day. I cant believe how lazy I am. No wonder I dont make any good money nowdays. No way I could ever handle a 9-5 job.

Same here. While on the Staff & Faculty at West Point many years ago, I used to give Time Management seminars , but in the last 7-8 years I have a personal time management problem:-(.

Actual work? Hmmm I would say 2-4 if that. It really varies anymore.

If I shoot some new content, that could be 2-4 hours right there. But I do not count loading up a video editor, FTP, or alike actual work. Most of my link building, updating and shit if all contracted out now. So I barely do any of that anymore.

I still have the support side of the hosting, and some other new projects that take a decent amount of time from time to time. But I would say the average is something like M-F, 2-4 hours a day of actual work.

I guess theking youre assuming some of us do everything manually like serving web pages when we get http requests. Everyone has a script or software that works 24/7.

That about sums me up.

Depending on the day I am doing the bare minimum to keep things going all the way up to not moving from the computer.

I'm certain I work more than 40 hours a week though. Probably about 45-50 during the average week.

depends on the day for me. Usually about 10-12 hours. Sometimes 6-8 and sometimes 14. 6 days a week, sometimes 7.

me too, I used to make so much money but I spent it just as fast, I could spend $1000 a day on nothing, gambling and fucking around, and never worry about it sometimes, living cheque to cheque, now I'm making much less and still spending it as fast as I make it, so it really makes no difference making lots or making less, it all ends up the same in the end

I am getting more and more lazy and don't even feel like working an hour a day anymore, all I really want is to lie around 20 hours a day and always have a roof over my head, food, and a good internet connection with no worries, not much motivation for more than that
