Fuck creative spam, this is creative spam targetted to surfers. All this does is make newb webmasters think it's a good idea to spam their ref codes and since it's one click away through a hosted, it's ok. If I went digging I could find a ton more examples but I'm busy.

I won't do this again since it bothers you so much. Over the past couple years, GFY as become a very surfer oriented site. I've had people tell me that they get joins from GFY. So I was curious and thought I'd attach some links to 1 thread I started for Miss May GFY so I could get an idea of the surfer presence her on GFY. I don't even start threads about models but I did this time so I could really get an idea of surfer traffic here.

Also, I'm not totally sure why the complaint. If some newb webmasters signed up for Vivid Cash and then started threads about your models posting pics and links to your site with thier code, why is that so bad? It just brands Vivid's name into both surfer and webmaster eyes. It generates traffic to your sites. As a webmaster you can choose to not look at the threads about "Model Pics" and just view the business oriented ones. But if there are surfers here, why not get some of their traffic? And if there are new webmasters here, why not let them signup and promote your sites in whatever way works for them?

Either way, I'm sorry you are so upset over this. I, for one will not do it again seeing that it bothers you and possible others. Happy Hump Day

Yep, you are so smart. I took everyones money. I became rich and kept it all and bought myself all kinds of toys. I did this because I'm a selfish crook and I didn't give any donations to Nikki. Its a good thing you know what you are talking about.

By the way, Nikki is doing great now. Still has over 100K in bills but she's healthy. Thanks for caring.

Adam, I've seen a hundred people do it, so I wasn't just singling you out. It's stupid though and then people make threads crying about all of the surfers on the board. Webmasters should spam their ref codes other places, where I don't pay thousands of dollars a month in advertising.

Baddog, I answered that in the other thread. Unless the poster owns the board, we don't accept forum spam.

I'm not complaining about the galleries, I'm complaining about the ref codes they're either putting in or leaving in the galleries when they make threads.

Or you could pay to advertise where webmasters don't spam their ref codes.

I understand what you are saying. Just cause there are surfers here doesn't mean we should support them.

The problem is that GFY used to be a webmaster board and now its got tons of surfers. One must ask themself, can this be changed? Is there a way to get it back to a webmaster board? Honestly, I don't think there is a shot in hell of making this a webmaster only board. It just won't happen. So, in a sense we have to grow with the changes and just deal with it.

As an advertiser, I'd have mixed emotions. Just like I said before, when newb webmasters post gallery links and such, its still promotion and its still traffic. In a way your webmaster advertising you spend at GFY gets you surfer traffic, more name recognition and more webmasters. In the end, its a tough call on what to do and how to handle it. For me, I'd just accept it and take what I get. If I want webmaster traffic only, I'll advetise on a webmaster only site. But thats just me
