Job Opening - Cameraman/Photographer - InHouse

Bussiness is booming and this summer will be no exception.

I'm looking for a Cameraman/Photographer with skills ... If you don't have a portfolio or have no experience with cameras, Please don't waste my time.

The Right Candiate will be located in Montreal Canada. Available a min of 2 - 3 days a week for a min of 8 - 10 hours per day.

Experience with 3 ccd Video cameras and Digtal SLRs is a must. You will recieve full Training from me on all formats including HD. After said training you will be proficient in operating 3 CCD mini DV cameras (GL2 & PD150) and HD camera (HVX200) as well as some Industrial professional cameras. if you don't know what manifactures these cameras are from then don't bother sending your info.

I will also teach you the finer points of framing, Lighting with hot & cool lights and the Basics of FCP and Premiere edit platforms.
You will also be trained in Digital photography and strobe lighting.

I'd like the person to be able to already have a good idea abotu composition, framing, F stops, etc ... I mean I don't mind teaching the basics but I really need this person t o be able ot shoot gonzo and pro am .. Lighting, cameras etc Could be taught .. but how to properly shoot, in my opion takes a lot more then just a few sessions

Nikki, I have taught many seminars and workshops .. form camera operations to cerified steadicam operations ... the only thing I ask from a candidate is his/her full attention and a steadi hand. I can teach composition, Rule of thrids, lighting and camera operations .. I just can't teach a steadi hand .. Or I should say I don't have the time to train a steadi Hand.

But if you have a true love of production .. please apply. If all you want is to see naked people fucking, rent a video. But if you want to learn how to produce award winning prods and are ready to put in the work nessesary .. please appy.

BTW this is a junior Posistion.

I've had about 4 actual interviews so far, but Im still far from a choice ... got two booked for tomorrow and an other 3 for next week .. before I leave for toronto . BTW I have a Good FCP editor that has worked with me on Huslter TV stuff, he's now in the toronto area and in need of work ... If anyone needs an editor with his own G5 FCP let me know at the WEBMASTER ACCESS TORONTO next week
