    Rush's new CD sucks

    I can't believe I'm saying something bad about Rush..

    But it's true.

    The new CD is horrible.

    "Back to their roots" my ass!

    Unless by "roots" you mean Roll The Bones or Counterparts.

    This CD seems about halfway done.

          Rush has always been hit or miss for me...they have some stuff that is truly brilliant, but they also have material that seems kind of pretentious, pompous and boring...

          They are always amazing live though

              The CD sounds very "Counterparts" to me. IMO, that's not a bad thing, but you're right, that's not exactly back to their roots (2112, Moving Pictures, etc...)...no matter, I already have tix to 2 shows and would never miss these guys in concert!!!
