    Mini report - Tube Site Submitter beta-testing

    Hi there!

    So I'm beta-testing the new Tube Site Submitter from Chameleon and it rocks. Most of the registration and video uploading is done automatically only a few needs to be done manually.

    First I was concerned about the amount of tubes available to submit, but it already contains around 200 of them which is an amazing number.

    The submit process is quite similar to the one in other Chameleon products which is extremely easy to understand. The length of the submitting highly depends on your connection speed.. of course there are still a few bugs left, but hey it's still in beta

    And the big question.. when will it be released to masses? At the moment the big date is 15th of December so only 2 weeks to go ;)

So its pretty easy to understand.

                                  To tell the truth 2 months ago I didn't knew that that many tube sites exist where ppl can submit videos so this is a pretty nice thing

                                                      avs was horrible...some of the sites that were in the list didn't even accept uploads, like 3 out of 100s of sites worked i hope this chameleon thing works better!

                                                                  I recently did a trial of AVS Adult Tube Submitter. I had no problems setting it all up, but found myself frustrated with the lag and freezing the program had. During a campaign, it wouldn't update on the fly so I would have to wait hours and hours and hours for it to finish to know what was successful. I saw almost no traffic from the successfull submissions. It would tell me 60/200+ submitted successfully each time (I didn't tick the manual ones). I took an entire day to setup the logins then manually finish registering on the sites it would fail at or a confirmation email wouldn't come through.

                                                                  IMHO, it wasn't worth the trouble.

                                                                      I just posted a few vids here and there but already got some sales. It highly depends on the paysite you are promoting. With less known paysites its a lot easier to make sales, also the best is when its in the homemade/amateur niche. Also it depends if the sponsors let you add the reflink on the end of the video or you can put a new watermark on the whole video..

                                                                      But yes I made some sales, but I haven't really checked which tube listed my videos which not (yet).

                                                                      Also this piece of software is pretty useful for affiliate programs which just want to spread their website across the web - for branding ;) I bet most of the sales come from that. So it's a big plus if you can have your own watermark on the whole video and that url will be typed in by the surfer. Btw I still get sales from my old tube submits (done 1-2 years ago!). It's a well known fact that google love tubes and tube vids are always ranked high, so you should think twice about your video titles/description.

                                                                                      I've just submitted a few videos all in different niches, but will start to push it seriously this/next week.. so will keep track of it from now.

                                                                                                  I'd buy the product if you can give more details on which sites list the vids and which sites dont. Answers that are vague or misleading or the "you need to try it and see what works for you" doesnt sit well with me.

                                                                                                  For instance the TGP and FS submitter by Chameleon. There's a ton of sites that are unmanned or dead or ignoring the submissions. Which for some webmasters is a waste of time.

                                                                                                              The tool offers you to enter url, 2257 url and text link, so if a tube supports it then you can have a clickable url somewhere around the video.

                                                                                                              And there is no such thing as official way, you need to contact your sponsor if they do allow that method.

                                                                                                                                                          Question: I just started using the TubeSiteSubmitter myself and found that some of the sites do list the site name as well as your aff. URL to that, but many of them don't so I'm curious what software you are using to add the link inside of the video itself? Macromedia MX or other? Seems like that is the only way to be sure you might get some traffic to the affiliate site. I've been looking into how to get links at the end of the video without much luck. Thanks.

As I mentioned, some of the sites are just posting the video without any link to the aff. site, so that seems to be a waste of time. I have seen a few hits to sponsors from the sites that do post a link to the site using my aff. link, so it seems possible to get some traffic from it. I'm looking into some software to add watermark and url to the video.

Submitting videos and actually having them visible are two different things. 99% of the tube sites that receive any negligible amount of traffic moderate videos.

                                                                                                                                                                          Unless you're planning on uploading full length videos they don't normally approve sponsor videos with a watermark.
