Just imagine what kind of career Mattingly would've had if it wasn't cut short by back problems. I fucking hate the Yankees but always loved Mattingly.

I went to the Don Mattingly retirement game, he was a great player. They gave him a huge ceremony, tons of gifts(2 new cars, big screen tvs, couldn't even remember the rest) and if I remember right he threw the first pitch.
