    I do not think there is one answer to verify who is / is not in this industry.

    I believe that if the mods do want to verify everyone, then many little things could help.

    My idea would be for each gfy webmaster to place one of their websites under their username. Then we can see which network they own and determine credibility that way.

    Of course, we need more little things that could help verify webmasters.


    Q: If this board does decide to verify everyone, what are some other little ways they can use to help their accuracy?

      who gives a shit. it's just a message board. and some of the biggest scammers and thieves have been well known bros so knowing who runs what means shit.

          One of their websites? There are lots of shooters and talent and other people in this biz that don't have websites - all you keyboard kings seem to think that this place is meant only for you...you're like little kids that don't want to share your ball.

                  It is very much possible to be in the business without owning a website or operating one. And I'm sure many people do not list their websites for fear that people will copy them.

                  Anyways, it's pretty easy to point out the people that are a waste of space here.

                                  If we have to jump through hoops to be here, we might as well determine how many hoops and the extent of each.

                                  I do not think any green or older / established nicks will have to verify anything.

                                  I think gfy may make newb applicants prove a few things before their account is approved. I do not think it will affect any of us.

                                                          if you are relying on a forum to make or break your success then maybe you need to reevaluate if you are in the right line of work..

                                                          if you don't know how to find and reach out to someone that you wish to do business with outside of GFY then i think its time you consider a 9-5 mainstream job where your only job description is to show up and punch a timeclock.

                                                          the fact is, the glory days are over. its not easy money anymore and you actually have to work to make a living.
